Review: R. Muller Riesling #Wine @OctavinHWB

A Fresh approach to artisan wine
Octavin Home Wine Bar’s patented premium wine cask (PWC) package design prevents oxidation. This unique package design ensures that every glass tastes as fresh and flavorful as the first for up to six weeks. It’s the perfect choice for those interested in just one glass with dinner.

Octavin Home Wine Bar’s PWC innovative design allows us to invest in making great wine, not expensive packaging. By eliminating heavy glass and expensive cork and closures, we reduce the cost of packaging and shipping, and pass on those savings to you. While each PWC contains the equivalent of four standard bottles of distinctive artisan wine, you often end up paying the price of just three bottles.

So go ahead and break the glass habit – and mother nature just might thank you for it. By choosing Octavin Home Wine Bar’s PWC over four carbon-inefficient heavy glass bottles, you reduce packaging waste by at least 85% and carbon emissions by 55%.

R. Müller ‘Rabbit’ Riesling
Winemaker Peter Griebeler crafts the R. Müller ‘Rabbit’ Riesling (aka ‘The Bunny Wine’) from grapes grown in the Landwein Rhein region of Germany. The wines of this region continue to impress Riesling lovers as they are known for elevating wines with a little more body, and the R. Müller Riesling is a nice example.

MY THOUGHTS:
Oh My Goodness… I LOVE this wine!! This wine is light and fresh, not too sweet, it is just right! I was going to send the wine home with a friend who loves Riesling but after tasting it I started laughing and told her “Sorry this is not leaving my house!!” My friend and I both have bought this several times since trying it. This is great for entertaining or just to keep your frig stocked (Although trust me it won’t last you long)! I definitely recommend this and have to anyone and everyone who will listen to me! If you like white wines try this you won’t regret it!! Plus if you are in Texas try your local HEB : ) they carry it!! We give the R. Müller Riesling two thumbs up!
